Our liturgy is an integral part of what makes Grace a special place. It’s always carefully focused on the worship of God and our church is widely appreciated for the quality of its liturgical practices.
A descriptive listing of our all our regular service offerings is at Hours & Services.
There is a rich offering of special services throughout the Church Year, especially during Holy Week. Maundy Thursday is celebrated with the Liturgy of the Last Supper (with participatory hand-washing In place of foot-washing). Good Friday and Holy Saturday services and the Easter Vigil help emphasize our commitment to Easter as the most important time of the Christian year. Two Christmas Eve services are also special events in our calendar. We celebrate and cherish the other seasons of the Church year as well.
One of the highlights of the year is our annual “Blessing of the Animals.” The diversity of our pets says a great deal about us as a parish. All are welcome inside the sanctuary, from cats and dogs to snakes and llamas. The service becomes a noisy celebration of all of God’s creation.
